Spending Christmas by the beach this year :)
Can't wait!
Will finish packing now. Hope you're enjoying the holidays :)

Merry Christmas!!

Mary Grace is love :)

I am a Christmas fan :)

And because I have this perk of having a two-week holiday vacation (Hurray for being a teacher :P), I wanna maximize it to the extent. I couldn't think of any more way to do it than to spend QT time with <3. Before meeting friends, we decided to have a quick breakfast at Mary Grace Serendra which is just a few mins away from work. I am no first timer since I ate here before (Hello, teacher bee!) but in their Greenbelt branch and I must say I am now an avid fan :) Prices are a bit steep but you will really get a nice homey ambiance. The personal touches contributed to the overall "mom's kitchen" effect of the place. I specially love the letters on the tables and the quotes instead of flowers center pieces. Their food tastes A+ with a variety of Filipino breakfast dishes such as tapa, longanisa and daing na bangus. Their signature hot choco and cheese bread is a must try! An instant way to start your day right :)

I am into leopard prints now :p

It's the season to be jolly (and colorful)

Trying to document my outfits and happenings for the holidays :)

So first stop: Our school Christmas Party :)

A quick outfit post:

Top: Landmark
Pants:BU2 find
Accessories: BU2 find (aiecorpuz.blogspot.com booth)
Shoes: People are People

Realy had an amazing time with my babies :) Their smiles were priceless. No matter how small or big the gift they received that day, they never failed to say and thank you. They all looked so genuinely happy.

Christmas is really a time for kids (and for teachers too!) got tons of gifts from them and from the other teachers. I have low EQ so I opened them all up right after I received them. Trying to seal them all for props under our tree :)

Here are my fave shots for the day (Thanks babe again for being my photographer :))

Isn't she the sweetest?

He loves the camera

So there, I hope you are enjoying the holidays as much as I do :)

Merry Christmas from me and my Robins Class :)

3 is better than 1

When I was younger, I wished I was an only child...

simply because If I am, I can have all the attention, all the love and all the toys (haha!)

My sisters and I have small age gaps so I never really enjoyed the luxury of being an only child for a long while eventhough I am the eldest. Growing up, people oftentimes compare us: Physically and Intellectually. Both of them pretty, thin, not to mention graduated valedictorians: in short, I always ended up at the bottom of the list. This didn't do any good with my self-esteem back then. I tend to avoid situations wherein I will have another comparison fest with my sisters.

As years go by (and with a few shining moments of my own), I came to a point than having them means more to me than just a comparison fest and playmates. I get to have instant bestfriends, instant fashion consultants, expandable closet (since we share almost everything) and instant defenders. Yes, we still fight (most of it, I kinda started :p) but I will never ever wish to be an only child anymore.

And oh, as an added bonus, having them means we can play dress up with each other :) Take a look:

So thanks HP for them and for your unending blessings :)))

Blogger's United 2 (The long aftershock)

Finally get to see all the amazing fashion bloggers I just adore. Though, I admit, I was too shy to ask them for pictures. (Which I promise to do next time) I really enjoyed looking around and being surrounded by people who love to express themselves by dressing up in more ways than one :)

They all inspire me to also share my love for fashion that started way before

Thank you Gian and Babe for coming with me :)

You know you're a teacher when...

Got this from tumblr. and may I just say, Oh so true! I highlighted my favorites :)

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TEACHER? :)
By Jeff Foxworthy

1. You can hear 25 voices behind you and know exactly who it belongs to.

2. You get a secret thrill out of laminating something.

3. You walk into a store and hear the words "It's teacher" _________" and know you have been spotted.

4. You have 25 people that accidentally call you Mom at one time or another.

5. You can eat a multi-course meal in under twenty minutes.

6. You've trained yourself to go to the bathroom at two distinct times of the day: lunch and planning period.

7. You start saving other people's trash, because most likely, you can use that toilet paper tube or plastic butter tub for something in the classroom.

8. You believe the teachers' lounge should be equipped with a margarita machine.

9. You want to slap the next person who says "Must be nice to work 8 to 5 and have summers and holidays off."

10. You believe chocolate is a food group.

11. You can tell if it's a full moon without ever looking outside.

12. You believe that unspeakable evils will befall you if anyone says "Boy, the kids sure are mellow today."

13. You feel the urge to talk to strange children and correct their behavior when you are out in public.

14. You think caffeine should be available in intravenous form.

15. You spend more money on school stuff than you do on your own needs.

16. You can't pass the school supply aisle without getting at least five items!

17. You ask your friends if the left hand turn he just made was a "good choice or a bad choice."

18. You find true beauty in a can full of perfectly sharpened pencils

19. You are secretly addicted to hand sanitizer or alcohol.

20. You say goodjob often and use the term pack-away when cleaning.

Rainbow Color : On being Teacher Iam

Teacher Iam is a:Storyteller/Cook/Singer/Dancer/Artist/
Comforter/Pillow/Referee/Mom/Yaya/Bestfriend

After 3 years of sleepless nights, hundreds of lesson plans, morning cutting paper sessions and coffee marathons, I still feel that I'm the prettiest, most love girl in the world when I'm in front of my students.

And as I grow a year older in a few days, It always amazes me how I can be as goofy, cranky, and "masungit" in front of them and still get the same "lambing" the next day.

Love beyond imperfections.

And each time I sit down and think Why I'm still here in this job when there are lots of financially rewarding jobs out there, I get butterflies in my stomach.

For there are no job (for me) as emotionally fulfilling as that of being a teacher. more like being a Superwoman:lots of roles within a job

My view on this might change over the years as I started to think more about the future. But as of today, I will seize the moments where I can be just me at work: childish, carefree and LOVED
